About

I tried to start this "About" page a hundred different times. I was trying to script this perfect picture of who I am and why you should stick around to read my blog - well, that's just not me. I'm not perfectly scripted and I tend to ramble about what some consider unimportant topics (like this About page). I am an independent, fiercely loyal, and loving woman who cares too much about a lot of things. I say what's on my mind and I speak my truth. I love learning new things and sharing what I know with others. And quite possibly the most important thing to know about me is that I like change, or at least change that I can control.

My life has been full of change whether it's the location of my home, my interests, the length of my hair, my clothing style, my relationship status, or who I want to be. All of these changes, and so many more, have formed me into the person I am today. These little (and not so little) acts of courage are what you read more about if you choose to stick around. The stories won't always be pretty, but they will be real and they will be honest.

So whether you are considering taking a step toward something new or deep in the throws of change, I hope my stories help you to take that courageous step or keep swimming through to the other side.
